Guatemala, UNISPICE is with you!

After the Tropical Depression E-12 passage Guatemala´s entire Republic was affected; the damage and consequences were obvious:  34 people dead, 07 missing, 175.355 people were affected, and 10. 863 were evacuated.

The disaster still continues, we can realize that the damages caused by rain are too many; but now the sun rise, the rain ceased and the sky is finally clear. It´s time to be together to get up, to take off, and rebuild what was destroyed.

UNISPICE sympathizes with Guatemala by expressing that is time to reaffirm our commitment to the community, and join to the hundreds of organizations, and thousands of Guatemalans who have turned their efforts to help the Guatemala´s population that has been affected; telling them that they are not alone and that TOGETHER we will move forward.

12,000 oat packages were the donation to twelve thousand people who this morning were able to get up, and know that though they have lost everything; they have something that remains: a helping hand that extends to them even in times of adversity.

With the availability of the equipment, and aid team of Aeroclub, transportation, and committed Guatemalans,  UNISPICE members who have invested many hours of effort bringing aid to those in need; the endeavors are still needed, certainly it will take much more than this , but together we will succeed
